Other projects.

I have a few other projects on at the moment aside from the science thing and 11 second club. One of which is to do with different types of addiction aside from the usual drug/ alcohol addictions. The piece is part of one film, or more that it is a video game one of the characters plays. Sort of like a GTA game but not particularly about a criminal or thug, but about a police officer who genuinely tries to help people but soon becomes addicted to the power he has over them and loves his ability to arrest.

As he becomes corrupted by this power, he becomes more and more involved in a gang, initially bribed to protect them-somewhat grudgingly- he eventually befreinds the main leader behind the group helping ro 'protect their interests'.

This is where the design comes in. As written on it, he is based somewhat off Vlad from GTA 4, a game I admit to playng once in a while and I have restarted it again. So far I have blown up the garage in the north of the first Island for Faustin.

Anyway. I wanted a sort of younger Vlad-ish look, not exactly like him but having certain elements, like that damn mustache and shifty look. I haven't yet given him a name but I will look up a few gangster names (more London Gangsters, proper Cockney buggers, innit?) and see where it goes.

The servers acting up again.

The Marie Curie drawings are done, but due to technical difficulties I cannot put them up.

Infuriating and stupid. I hope this does not continue.

Stephen Hawking Part 2: Tokyo Drift.

Finally! Something must have been iffy with the server or something but at last, here is the second Stephen Hawking doodle for the Science project. Also, the animation for 11 second club is sorted I think.    Anyway. The note at the side I must say is just generally saying not to animate him too much. It's unfortunate I have to say that but, that's Motor Neurone Disease for you. Then again for him to be damn near 70 with the disease I must say I'm impressed. I had to google up his current condition as I didn't know how much of his body (if any) he could move so it has been a pretty educational experience so far.

I have no idea what this is about, but I can't show the second drawing I did of Stephen Hawking. DAMMIT BLOGGER!

Stephen Hawking mixin' it up like a Pro.

Don't ask me why Stephen is a DJ. I was just messing around with photoshop while bored. Still it's a great mental image isn't it? Stephen moonlights as a DJ, Einstein doing backflips on the dancefloor and Lise Meitner is passed out drunk in a corner.

An animation I did for last christmas. I pretty much animaed around a stand up show Bill Bailey did back in 2000. I am a fan of his work and think he is a fantastic comedian and musician so I decided to do a Christmas animation based on his Donkey on Cocaine skit.

Project: Science!

I have a few projects on the go, unpaid work but its good for experience. One of these is trying to get kids interested in science as apparntly more and more kids are not choosing to follow science into A-Levels and beyond. So I had a contact with a project worker who wants me to help animate and create an animation to get kids back into it. So, here is a few drawings and ideas. Some character designs I'm fixing up.

Hello world and hello new blog. I forgot the original blog's password so I thought I'd start afresh. I shall soon be posting my 'wonderful' animations and designs. Not much to say as I have yet to post them up but it is coming soon.
